A program full of events and great news for the White City. The first news is the duration of the event that will officially start on Saturday 23 November 2019 at 19.30 (and end on 6 January 2020) with the inauguration and the “Illuminiamo Ostuni” event presented by the actress Daniela Fazzolari, the second a journey exclusive in the heart of the White City with four thematic areas masterfully illuminated by the master Giuseppe De CagnaLuminarie sole administrator of De Cagna Luminarie.
The press conference was attended by the mayor of Ostuni Guglielmo Cavallo, the councilor for productive activities Luca Cavallo, the president of the Tourist Art Apulia association Claudio Santoro, the sole director of De Cagna Luminarie Giuseppe De Cagna, the president of Federalberghi Pierangelo Argentieri and the director of the Coastal Dune Park Angela Milone.
The project presented this morning (November 16th) will take place every weekend from November 23rd to December 19th, while it will be active every day from December 20th to January 6th. The thematic areas that will be interested are Viale Oronzo Quaranta, where the “Big Santa Claus Village” will be set up, in which there will be the artistic illuminations of Giuseppe De Cagna, the elves and Santa Claus, all accompanied by the gastronomy realized from local folk groups. Arriving in the “Historic Center” area, visitors will be able to walk through the typical places of the city lit up (Piazza della Libertà and Via Cattedrale), on Corso Vittorio Emanuelesarà the Christmas market with typical houses accompanied by music and entertainment will be set up and illuminated.
Going up Corso Cavour, visitors will be able to reach the municipal villa, the beating heart of our Luminous Christmas, where the “Fairy Tales Park” will be set up with the typical food market, the amusement park for children, the entertainment area inside. Radio Enjoy’s Radio Christmas Live Show by young Ostunese editor Giuseppe Saponaro media partner and organizing the event together with Tourist Art Apulia. The last thematic area “The shopping streets”, will be an integral part of the Viale Pola project and the surrounding areas, will be staged the initiatives dedicated to commerce and shopping accompanied with the right entertainment.
